2. When does this statement apply?

This privacy statement applies to all personal data we process from visitors to our website and from people who contact us or do business with us.

3. What data do we process and why?

We collect no more data than necessary and use it only for the purposes for which it was provided.

a. When you contact us (email, phone or contact form)

Data: name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.
Purpose: to answer your question and assist you further.
Legal basis: your consent and/or the steps preceding a possible agreement (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).

b. When you are a customer or supplier

Data: contact and billing details, order history and correspondence.
Purpose: performance of the contract, invoicing and accounting.
Legal basis: performance of the contract and our legal obligations (including accounting) (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).

c. When you visit our website

Data: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, via cookies and similar techniques (see the cookie policy below).
Purpose: to make the website work properly and analyse usage.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website (necessary cookies) and your consent (other cookies) (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary:

Contact requests that do not lead to an agreement: [e.g. 12 months] after the last contact.
Customer and billing data: for the legal retention period (in Belgium, 7 years for accounting documents).
Cookies: see the expiry periods in the cookie policy.

5. With whom do we share data?

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us deliver our services, and only to the extent necessary:

The fonts on our website are loaded locally from our own server, so no data is sent to Google or other third parties in this respect. Should we nevertheless engage a service provider outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. How do we secure your data?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including secure connections (HTTPS) and access restrictions.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

request access to your personal data;
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”);
restrict the processing;
object to the processing;
receive your data in a commonly used format (data portability);
withdraw any consent given at any time.

We may amend this privacy statement. The most recent version is always available on our website, together with the date of the last modification.

Part 2 – Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

2. Wanneer is deze verklaring van toepassing?

Deze privacyverklaring is van toepassing op alle persoonsgegevens die wij verwerken van bezoekers van onze website en van personen die met ons contact opnemen of zaken met ons doen.

3. Welke gegevens verwerken wij en waarom?

Wij verzamelen niet meer gegevens dan nodig en gebruiken ze enkel voor de doeleinden waarvoor ze zijn verstrekt.

a. Wanneer je ons contacteert (e-mail, telefoon of contactformulier)

Gegevens: naam, e-mailadres, telefoonnummer, bedrijfsnaam en de inhoud van je bericht.
Doel: je vraag beantwoorden en je verder helpen.
Rechtsgrond: jouw toestemming en/of de stappen die voorafgaan aan een mogelijke overeenkomst (art. 6.1.a en 6.1.b AVG).

b. Wanneer je klant of leverancier bent

Gegevens: contact- en facturatiegegevens, bestelgeschiedenis en correspondentie.
Doel: uitvoering van de overeenkomst, facturatie en boekhouding.
Rechtsgrond: uitvoering van de overeenkomst en onze wettelijke (o.a. boekhoudkundige) verplichtingen (art. 6.1.b en 6.1.c AVG).

c. Wanneer je onze website bezoekt

Gegevens: technische gegevens zoals IP-adres, browsertype en bezochte pagina’s, via cookies en vergelijkbare technieken (zie het cookiebeleid hieronder).
Doel: de website goed laten werken en [indien van toepassing: het gebruik analyseren].
Rechtsgrond: ons gerechtvaardigd belang bij een werkende, veilige website (noodzakelijke cookies) en jouw toestemming (overige cookies) (art. 6.1.f en 6.1.a AVG).

4. Hoe lang bewaren wij je gegevens?

Wij bewaren persoonsgegevens niet langer dan noodzakelijk:

Contactvragen die niet tot een overeenkomst leiden: [bv. 12 maanden] na het laatste contact.
Klant- en facturatiegegevens: gedurende de wettelijke bewaartermijn (in België 7 jaar voor boekhoudkundige stukken).

5. Met wie delen wij gegevens?

Wij verkopen je gegevens nooit. Wij delen ze enkel met dienstverleners die ons helpen onze diensten te leveren, en uitsluitend voor zover nodig:

onze websitehosting / IT-leverancier: [naam hostingprovider invullen];
[indien van toepassing: aanbieder van statistieken, bv. een analyse-tool];
onze boekhouder of softwareleveranciers voor facturatie;
overheden of instanties wanneer wij daartoe wettelijk verplicht zijn.

Met deze partijen sluiten wij waar nodig een verwerkersovereenkomst.

6. Worden gegevens buiten de EU doorgegeven?

Onze website maakt mogelijk gebruik van diensten waarvan de servers zich buiten de Europese Economische Ruimte kunnen bevinden (bijvoorbeeld lettertypen of externe scripts). Wanneer dat het geval is, zorgen wij voor passende waarborgen, zoals de standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie. Tip: als je Google Fonts lokaal host, kun je deze paragraaf vereenvoudigen.

7. Hoe beveiligen wij je gegevens?

Wij nemen passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om je gegevens te beschermen tegen verlies, misbruik en ongeoorloofde toegang, waaronder beveiligde verbindingen (HTTPS) en toegangsbeperkingen.

8. Jouw rechten

Je hebt op grond van de AVG het recht om:

inzage te vragen in je persoonsgegevens;
onjuiste gegevens te laten verbeteren;
je gegevens te laten verwijderen (“recht op vergetelheid”);
de verwerking te laten beperken;
bezwaar te maken tegen verwerking;
je gegevens in een gangbaar formaat te ontvangen (overdraagbaarheid);
een gegeven toestemming op elk moment in te trekken.

9. Wijzigingen

Wij kunnen deze privacyverklaring aanpassen. De meest recente versie staat steeds op onze website, met de datum van laatste wijziging.

Deel 2 – Cookiebeleid

Wanneer je op een externe link klikt (zoals onze LinkedIn-pagina), gelden de privacyvoorwaarden van die andere website.

4. Je toestemming beheren

Bij je eerste bezoek tonen wij een cookiebanner waarin je niet-noodzakelijke cookies kunt aanvaarden of weigeren.

Daarnaast kun je cookies beheren of verwijderen via de instellingen van je browser. Houd er rekening mee dat de website daardoor mogelijk niet optimaal werkt.

5. Wijzigingen

Wij kunnen dit cookiebeleid aanpassen wanneer onze website of de gebruikte technieken veranderen. Controleer deze pagina regelmatig op de meest recente versie.
