𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 - 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆!
📍 Standing in front of the future! Behind us: One of the most advanced fusion experiments in the world, Wendelstein 7-X at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) in Greifswald.
What makes this moment special? The people in this photo represent the power of collaboration, expertise, and innovation—bringing together MolAquaTech, MOL Katalysatortechnik GmbH, KNG Kraftwerks- und Netzgesellschaft mbH and IHK Halle-Dessau – all working towards a common goal: 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿
Fusion energy takes engineering, chemistry and physics to the absolute limits. Plasma temperatures exceeding 100 million degrees Celsius—hotter than the core of the sun—must be controlled, while the surrounding cooling infrastructure ensures stable operation.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹:
✅ 𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹
✅ 𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
✅ 𝗡𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀
✅ 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 high-efficiency, biocide-free 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴—even under extreme conditions
The technology behind this was first developed together with my father Juergen Koppe, refined through years of experience with KNG Rostock, and is now being further advanced in direct collaboration with MPI Greifswald. Together, we filed our first joint patent in December 2024, a major milestone in making this cooling concept the new industry standard.
𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
A successful fusion power plant could revolutionize the way we produce energy—affordable, reliable, and independent of fossil fuels. But fusion will only work if the surrounding infrastructure can keep up.

Water management may not be the first thing that comes to mind when we talk about fusion energy—but without it, fusion isn’t possible.
A huge thank you to Peter Volkmann from KNG, the brilliant team around Rüdiger Krampitz at MPI Greifswald, and all partners involved in making sustainable innovation a reality. This moment is proof that progress happens when visionaries work together. One thing is certain: 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁. 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.
Let’s talk about how we can remove bottlenecks in your cooling and process water systems—because smart water management isn’t just an option. It’s a strategic advantage.
